john james varrone

michael and Rosanna varrone always planned on having a big family, just not as soon as it happened. the two were so focused on their careers and traveling, that neither were ready for children. michael was a well-respected attorney, while Rosanna was a real estate agent. the two devoted all their time to themselves, but this was about to change. while the varrone's were on vacation, Rosanna grew ill, only to find out she was actually pregnant. after hearing the sudden news, they both knew it was time to get back to greensboro. feeling completely overwhelmed, this was the first time in awhile that the varrone's were somewhat unprepared. clearing out one of his old offices almost immediately, michael set up the baby room. he wanted Rosanna to rest and focus on keeping herself and the baby healthy.

after what felt like forever, Rosanna finally gave birth to their first child, emily. since she had a c-section, she decided to take a short leave of absence from work. little did she know, this leave would turn into five years. luckily, michael was able to work while Rosanna stayed home taking care of their daughter and herself. even though the varrone's were new at parenting, it surprisingly came easy to them. they were both structured and worked well together like a team. soon after emily's third birthday, Rosanna was pregnant once again.

The pregnancy this time around was fairly easier since Rosanna knew what to expect. The Varrone's were so against hiring a nanny, but towards the end of Rosanna’s third trimester, they needed someone there. They weren't ready to send emily to daycare, but the extra help was necessary in order to cater to all her needs. Once again michael was setting up a new baby room, and before the family knew it, jj was born. Rosanna and michael finally had their hands full.

A few years after Rosanna had jj, they welcomed another son, which concluded the varrone clan. growing up, jj was intense when it came to sports. his father started him in little league baseball at the age of five, and football at seven. once jj got into middle school, he stopped playing baseball and kept his entire focus on football. jj's mother constantly got on his case about his schoolwork, but he was too focused on making football his life. by high school he was one of the best players on his team, which was well deserved. on the offseason, he constantly trained, worked out and pushed himself. he played varsity all four years in high school and even with decent grades, he knew he wanted to play in college.

jj went to the university of minnesota, with a scholarship for football. he played in several games his freshman year, but didn't start until he was a sophomore. from sophomore year to senior year, he dedicated his life to the team. he barely went out, and when he wasn't playing or practicing, he was studying. he graduated in 2010 and earned a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing. eventually he was drafted by the denver broncos in the third round (87th overall) of the 2010 NFL draft. he played with the broncos for four seasons before signing with his current team, the new york jets.
